Parish Council Meetings

Berrynarbor Parish Council meets in the Village Hall on the second Tuesday in the month at 7.00 p.m. Members of the public are invited to attend these meetings.

Public Participation

The Parish Council’s Standing Orders for Agenda Item ‘Public Participation’ are as follows:

  • People wishing to speak should advise the Parish Clerk or Chair at least 24 hours before the start of the meeting in writing or by email.
  • A 15-minute period will be allowed at the start of every meeting where members of the Public may speak for no more than 3 minutes per person.

A question asked by a member of the public during a public participation session at a meeting shall not require a response or debate within that meeting.

If it is Parish Council business it will be noted and if necessary, tabled onto the next agenda. If the issue is not council business this will be recorded within the minutes and where appropriate information/guidance given (outside the minutes) that might help with the issue. The standing orders can be found here or on the website
